This ultra-cute headboard is made using a few worn out shutters painted in a pop color and attached to the back wall of the bedroom with some quirky chalkboards. Here the shutters were reused from an old home but these can also be easily bought from a local store. Just paint them in your favorite color or according to the décor of your bedroom and nail them in an arrangement that you find flattering. Also an extra touch can be given with these quirky chalkboards with painted alphabets on them.

This headboard is made using nothing but doormats, a ply board and some paint. First cut out the ply in the size of your required headboard while also keeping the size of door mats into account. Paint the ply in the color of your wall or any color you wish to. Also spray paint the door mats to give them a polished look. Fix the doormats above the ply, trim off the extra parts and your headboard is ready to rock!
